Latest news on limiting immigration applications. Family class likely to suffer. The reason I am posting it is that in the last two days, a forum member was spreading rumours and panic that MI-1 applicants were going to be refunded of their application fee.

It looks that way. One can see movement of MI-1 cases at many VOs in this forum.

I have substantiated ministers statement by proving three links. i don't have to make a fake statement here. A member with forum name similar to ((((( ))))) had spread the rumour and used foul language for another forum member. It seems the moderator has deleted that thread.

Movements in MI-1 cases at Manila, Singapore, Buffalo, Detroit, London, NY etc. is visible in the last one month. Some have got MRs and some even passport request. One applicant personally went to enquire about his case to Embassy yesterday and they gave a letter by hand asking him to bring his PP. He was pleasantly surprised.
