Looking for some advice guys, my employer submitted an LMO back in March and I submitted the Temporary Work Permit application soon after, ticking the 'Employer Has Submitted LMO' option on the electronic application to Vegreville Alberta.

The problem is that the LMO was denied on the basis that my employer did not provide sufficient proof that a Canadian can carry out my duties. (The LMO was already approved once previously so I've already had my work permit extended once).

The problem now is that I am 1 month into my Restoration Status and still have not recieved an answer on the appeal my employer made on the LMO. So my question is, will I have enough time to submit my paperwork in 2 months and if I do not recieve an answer within the 90 days, do I have to leave the country?

I have also ceased working, which is a slight nuisance as I'm dipping into savings which I had planned for other things that were coming up, but this is only a minor issue I guess.

Hope some enlightened people on here can help.

Bump....

Can anyone shed any light on this? I still haven't received my LMO yet alone submit the paperwork and now there is only less than 1 month to go before my 90 days are up.

Does anyone know what to do in this situation?
