Dear All

we wish to apply  for PR  under NOC 3112 with my wife as principal applicant - she is an MBBS doctor. However she is not working since May 2009 and is a house wife currently. Prior to this she was working and has 4 years experience.
My question is -will her current status be a negative and make her ineligible. If not what should i mention as her current occupation - housewife / unemployed.

Thanks in advance

If your wife is unemployed/housewife currently, you MUST write it in your application. Be always truthful while submitting Canadian PR application.

Since your wife have 4 years of experience in last 10 years, being housewife/unemployed currently would not impact your application negatively.

If she has any concrete reason for being housewife/ unemployed currently(such as childbirth, pregnency or any other reason), you can mention it in a covering letter.

Wish you all the best.
