My wife is the principal applicant but is unemployed  since march 2009, as in she is a housewife and is taking care our 20 months old son.In tht case what shud we mention as her current occupation ,unemployed or housewife.

She is a doctor by the way and applying as GP.

I think it will be OK to put "housewife" (since it's the truth). Anyway, her work experience will be enumerated on the Schedule 3 form. Her Personal History will also be highlighted in the Background/Declaration form.

I assume that her work experience related to the 29 NOC list (2011-2012) is within the last 10 years experience she had.
