Hi

I received my CSQ and have already applied for my PR. I am also done with my medicals.

An interesting development that took place was that I recently got married. I wanted to know how should I update my application and include my spouse in it. Should I first contact the CSQ MICC guys or should I first send the update to the federal ppl or should I inform both of them at the same time? Also in my CSQ letter there is no mention of how should I tell the MICC guys about the change in my marital status? It just says that I should notify them as soon as possible. Can anyone tell me how should one proceed in this case?

Also can anyone comment what documents are needed to inform of the change?

Right now I am in my native country. Is that going to be a problem?

Kindly share your experiences which might be useful in my case.

Thanks a lot everyone

Hi,

A nearly similar situation was mine when I wanted to include my family members in my PR application after CSQ was issued to me.

I asked the concerned BIQ and they replied I'll have to return the old CSQ and re apply along with the family members, means the whole process was to start from the scratch, so I dropped the idea.

Anyhow its better to ask from concerned BIQ which issues you CSQ.

Bonne Chance!
