hi all,

I am new to the forum. I am preparing to apply for my PR from india. I have 4 years of experience from aug 2005 to present. From may 2006 to march 2008 i have worked in Dubai, UAE. Now the problem is that for going to Dubai i signed a 4 year contract with my employer i.e i will work for them from may 2006 for 2 years in dubai and then the next 2 years in india with a firm which is a sister concern of my dubai firm. Altough i sucessfully completed my 2 years in dubai, i could not continue with them in india because of some family problems. Altough i had broken the bond with the company HR head's mutual consent but i donot have any proof of it. I have the experience letter for my 2 years in dubai and will get the reference letter from my supervisor in dubai as well.....

I want to ask is that will they call my supervisor only or can they call anyone they want as there might be a problem for me if the visa office calls my ex-office and asks for my authenticity other than my supervisor and the HR head ?

What should i do ? and should i go ahead with my application ?

Its not such a huge problem and this shouldnt stop you from applying if you qualify the basic criterea. Of course you never know who CIC gets to speak to if they call your ex-employer and want to confirm your past employment with them but if you have the necessary proofs as you have mentioned in your post which shows them where you worked then theres no reason why should they doubt you. But if I was you I would also attach copies of payslips and/or tax documents with the detailed application as that will make things more authentic. Go ahead and dont let these small issues hinder you.
