I am 24 yrs old and have a criminal record for disorderly behaviour in a public place.  I was fined £150, did not serve time or anything like that.  I also have a speeding offence and an offence for driving without due care (all given from UK courts).  I want to apply for Canadian work visa, with a view to perhaps applying for a residency visa.  I am not a criminal by any means, I just made some stupid mistakes and have paid for them.  I am a very hard worker and a proud man and really hope my past actions haven't messed up my future.  There was quite a lot of information out there, but mainly I could only really find info on serious criminality.  My partner has family in Canada and is well-educated and we are both wanting to make a fresh start, if anyone could indicate whether this will cause me problems with getting a visa I would be very grateful.  Thanks
