Hi

yes they do the criminal record check apart from the pcc they have there on resources to check the record of the applicant after all they are making you the canadian national so they make sure you dont bring any danger to the society and thats why sometime security check takes alot of time. One shud not worry about it if he doesnt have any criminal record. Do u have any record?

Cheers

My name was presented in a fight (fake- didn't take place). Even I was not at home that day. I gave proof but they didn't accept.

So, unfortunately, remained in jail for few days.

Please let me know is there any type of conviction which leads application to rejection on the grounds of Security/criminal record. OR these type of just fights may have an exception.

In this case should one include in the application real matter?

You must be truthful.  Check the CIC website about criminal inadmissibility.

Does the intensity OR type of crime matters?

Did you mention this in your application form where they asked about conviction? If there were no charges made against you then its ok but you should mention this in your application form because if you hide this and visa officer came to know about it then they will have more doubts and get suspicious that why you hide this in first place. so better to mention everything accurately.

I haven't applied yet.
Court ordered to arrest(not sentenced)-sent police station, remained there for few days-then jail(hearing started)-after few days both parties agreed to close this case-so released from Jail (without being sentenced)

You are safe Until and unless you are being sentenced or FIR registered against you.  Go ahead. No need to mention this in the application.

There was FIR on the basis of which court ordered to arrest. The police took bribery to keep name in offence even proof of absence was provided but neglected.

That means your name is already in police records. This is complicated matter mate, I would not lead you any wrong advise. I think you should consult with some lawyer.
