Hi everyone,

Was hoping that someone might have some advice. It has been a long time ambition of mine to emigrate and find work in British Columbia. However, about 11 months ago my wife was convicted of fraud, attributal to a mental health condition. There was no prison sentence. However, she was given a Community Service Order and therefore a criminal record. I was wondering if anyone knew if our plans for our family ( we have a 2 year old son ) in Canada were effectively dead in the water.

Thanks for any help/advice/anecdotes that anyone could offer.
