Criminal Check for a particular state question.

Hello all,

I am in the process in obtaining the Police certificates for a permanent residant card in canada.

I have lived in Illinois for about a year and one thing I am uncertain of is:

1. do i need to get FBI fingerrpints for this particular state?
2. Or will just the regular FBI fingerprint card be sufficient?

nevermind i just spoke to the IL state police and they informed me that it can be done electronically.
