Hi There,

Somebody mentioned on a forum that a creidt report is required as part of your Visa application. Is this correct?

I am just curious as I currently live in Bermuda but I am originally from Ireland so I am wondering if I will need one from both countries.

Thanks

What type of visa application

I doubt that it would make any difference as credit scores are for when u apply for things on credit and Canada has their credit reporting agencies that they use, Equifax, Experian and Transunion

I'm applying for PR... My fiance is a canadian, she's from Vancouver but we live in Bermuda. I was thinking that they wouldn't ask for credit scores for a visa, maybe when we are buying a home but not when we are entering the country  Smiley

I do not know why ask for credit score. If you buy a home in Canada for apply mortgage at any bank you need at least credit score 675+ and 750 is better standing

You don't need to give your credit scores for a PR application based on family class, which is what you are.
