Hi there, I seem to have a similar problem like others.. My card has been charged on the 9th August.. Have not heard from CIC yet.. How long do I have to wait.. ??  first make sure his application was reached only after 26 june. he's just said his cc was charged on 9th august, (can be of pre 26 june applicant!) lamhey

Hi - that doesn't look like an AOR to me. If you are pre-June-26th then an AOR should be telling you to file an application with all supporting documents to your visa office within 120 days. This is just thanking you for calling them!  Wayne. what about number assigned *Bxxxxxx*? that indeed looks different to what I expected from the CIO as AOR (text is not similar to sample ones in the OP 6), but number confused me. |

Hi, call this no. 0016139444000. ask them specifically about your case. after calling you will need to dial 1..2..1..2..1 in that order. Dont dis connect, wait for representative to come. It will take 12-15 minutes. Sorry, but you cant do anything more than wait. |

I have no idea about the number, but the letter isn't an AOR since it does not confirm that his application has been forwarded to the visa office for further processing or that he should submit his documents within 120 days. He could always try to log into e-case with the number, but IMO it's just a clientid they assign all applications as they arrive, we all probably have one of those. Hopefully somebody will get some AORs throughout October and we can get a better idea of timescales. Wayne. |

Hi,
I am from India and wishes to make the application fees payment thro my credit card.
Read so many threads about CC and also found some posts mentioning the payment thro' CC getting rejected due to some reasons.
I ask all here who have got their application fees payment cleared thro Credit Card..
Which Bank Credit Card you used?
Was it Mastercard / Visa?
Was it some special card, such as gold card, titanium card etc.
Have you informed your bankers regarding this payment will come to the credit card...
This info may help me to get the right credit card which get the payment processing easy and without any hassles.
Looking towards your responses.
