Hi everyone
I plan to land to Vancouver this year and back to my own country for continuity of my work. During the stay, I would apply PR card, SIN card and create a bank account for wiring the money from my own country to canada.
However, would Canada Government ask me to pay the tax if I transfer money from my own country to Vancouver bank?
BTW, should I be asked to start to pay tax if I apply SIN card?

Thanks a lot!

No tax for wiring, but you would be assigned a temporary tax identification number if you don't have a SIN.  Make sure this is open as "non resident" account.  Change it as "resident" account when you live more permenant.

If you would be sending large amounts of money, use HSBC to take the advantage of commission free wiring between countries.
