Folks,

Today i got reply from Ottawa-CPP:

"Please note that your case has been transferred from Buffalo to the CPP-Ottawa office and is currently in the process of being reviewed by an officer.
Our office will communicate with you, should further information be required. "

Any idea what kind of review they are talking about, i got GCMS yesterday and what i have concluded based on information on GCMS they are done with security check (i can be wrong though). Here are my ecas details:

Application Received: 07 December 2010
We Started processing your application: 12 October 2011
Medical results have been received.

Just want to share my timeline.
Received CSQ in February 2012 (after 14 months) stating Buffalo as my Visa Office
Submitted Federal in March 2012
Received AOR + Medical Request from CPP - Ottawa in May 2012. Asked to do all my communications with CPP - Ottawa only. They'll process my file until a decision is made.
Recommended to do medicals within 60 days from date of request. Getting them done next week.

Hi everyone. I wanted to add my timeline to the list. I applied for permanent residency through the Manitoba PNP. I live in Connecticut.

MB PNP Application Sent: January 2011
MB PNP Approval Received: July 25, 2011
Federal Application Sent to Buffalo: September 2011
Federal Application Received by Buffalo: October 6, 2011
E-mail from CPP-Ottawa acknowledging receipt, with file number and medical form: November 10, 2011
FBI Background Check Results Sent: December 2, 2011
Medicals Sent: December 27, 2011

The eCAS site says "In Process". In the details, in addition to the October 6 receipt, it says "We started processing your application on November 30, 2011." There is no mention of medicals being received, but USPS tracking says it was delivered (location: "CANADA", unhelpfully) on December 30.

I sent an e-mail to Ottawa on February 10 asking if they got my medicals, but received no response. I sent another e-mail, updating my address, on May 18; it was acknowledged on May 24 and eCAS reflects the change.

I suppose I'm getting a little impatient, having read through some of these threads and seeing people get a passport request who submitted their application this year. And I know there's a bit of luck involved, but I'm also a bit worried there's no mention in eCAS of receiving my medical results... the Canadan-approved clinic in CT seemed a bit behind the times, honestly.

Anyone with words of encouragement or an application from last fall that's still pending?

Hi Brian, first up don't worry.  CIC is always a bit remiss in updating E-Cas. 

I get the feeling that they have received your medical, as they would likely have sent you a reminder email if they had not.  Try sending them another email.

Also, I know you are not in Canada, but find a way of calling the CIC call center (usually only for people residing in Canada, but I think there are ways round it) and ask them if they can take a look at your file and see whether the medicals have been received.  They should be able to help you, seeing as your file is being processed in Canada.

I have also got my MPNP and am waiting on the federal response.  It takes a while...

Thanks, sb. I actually sent CPP-O a follow-up e-mail about an hour ago, so we'll see. The call center idea sounds good too... I think I'll sic my girlfriend in Winnipeg on them!

Hi Guys,
I have received an email requesting my medical form the CPP-Ottawa and they said The contents of the parcel are to be identified with the applicant's complete postal address, the address of the Immigration Visa Office dealing with the application, are they talking about the CENTRALIZED INTAKE OFFICE in nova scotia because that is where I have sent my application first or they are talking about the Ottawa one tomorrow I am doing my medical and really confused. 
P.S Can i eat before the medical or not?
PLEASE ANSWER ASAP

the system is faulty, people whi applied 7 years ago are getting their applications cancelled, people who applied in 2010 are just now starting processing, people who applied 6 months ago are already receiving PPRs.
The whole system is fd up.
