Hello, I have the CSQ I have applied to PR since Oct.2011 I did not hear anything until now. I have submitted my application to Buffalo office I sent email asking about the status of my application they replied that it takes about 30 weeks before they start processing the application. Is this normal  thanks |

severly past due, they received my application 1st of March in Vienna. AOR 8th March. Background checks not even started as of Feb 9th 2012 according to CAIPS. |

hi im pnp quebec..after my CSQ- i sended app to buffalo august 15 -2011 with my police clearenc and RCMP clrearenc... got an email at 05-feb 2012 that app was recievd on august 18-2011 in same email they said that my file has been transferd to CCP-OTTAWA- and i had req for med in it also MED done 17 feb -MED recievd shows on CIC web site march 05- NOW can any body tell me when they will ask my passport and how long it will get untill PR card thanx  |

No. four months is the fastest timeline that anyone could possibly achieve ... is it fair to say that most people are done in that amount of time? probably not. You can have expectation but four months is not the standard. 12 months is still the standard processing times |

yes but me its allready makes 8 months since i first applied and CCP-OTTAWA said 120 days max |

Is this normal thanks After CSQ.. i send my App to buffalo at 15 august 2011 the recievd 18 august 2011 then it was a long waiting untill 27 jan 2012.... 27 jan i recive an email that my file has been transferd to CPP-OTTAWA.. and i had a med request attached and my client ID that i can chek my app status on line... med done 17 FEB... they updated online that they recievd med results 05 MARCH 2012 now im waiting that they ask me my passport to stamp visa |
