This is very urgent! When was the email sent out to you. My email was sent to me on Tue 20/12/2011 11:14 AM. But I have received it on from the immigration authorities on Wed 04 Jan 2012. I am just a little confused!
Did you send your passport to Fort Erie.

Hi all,
I got an email today saying to fast track my application got transferred to Los Angeles. It was originally with Buffalo and then transferred to CPP-O and now Los Angeles...
To be honest I'm sad because considering CPP-O timeline, I was expecting my PPR any time soon. Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Hi all,
I got an email today saying to fast track my application got transferred to Los Angeles. It was originally with Buffalo and then transferred to CPP-O and now Los Angeles...
To be honest I'm sad because considering CPP-O timeline, I was expecting my PPR any time soon. Any suggestion will be appreciated.
Applications only go to Ottawa if they are straight forward and no further documents are required. That in no way means that you are missing any info on your file. Applications that go Detroit are the worst as the applicants then have to send in their pay slips and Tax Forms etc. |

Medical done in October 17
My e-CAS shows:
We received your application for permanent residence on March 8, 2011.
We started processing your application on October 6, 2011.
Medical results have been received. (update nov.26)
I just so upset(((, I am not get my PPR yet... If Ottawa so fast process paper, why my case take so mush time? Anybody waits more than me?

I haven't researched much about LA but Detroit always request Tax forms, Letter of reference from employer, and Pay stubs. |

Its just that I received an email very late (approx 14 days after its was sent to me). Then there was some mix up at Canada Post's end so I wasn't sure of what was happening at the embassy. Canada Post had given me the wrong tracking number so all the confusion. My passport has reached the facility before the 30 day period - I am sure I am fine. Congrats on the Visa stamping and landing!!  |

You could always email them. Ottawa is quick to reply to genuine inquiries. They say it takes 10 months to process an application and you are well over the 10 month term! |

You need to keep in mind that the way PR is processed relies on other factors you can't control such as background check which takes varying time ... If you're curious, instead of emailing CPP-Ottawa, order CAIPS notes! |

what the f**k, both my wife's and my medical had been sent in the same envelope to ottawa on the middle of Nov 2011, but my ecase still didn't updated! i emailed them on Dec, they say they received mine, but not my wife's. another month past, still doesn't show " medical received". any idea guys?  |
