Hello there,

Can you please help me to understand the following .
- How far does CPC vergreville go into the PR application (speaking of processing the application) before sending it to local office? By all mean do they do the entire work and only send the decision to local office to conduct landing Interview ? (Inland app)
- Also, I was told that when a PR application is handled by a local office, this might actually take a bit longer time to get it done than if the file was processed by CPC vergreville is that true?

Thanks for you comments.

If there are any problems or concerns with the application it will be sent to a local office before the 1st stage approval for an interveiw (not landing interveiw) and the it can take upwards of 18-24 months depending on the the office times vary.

Thnak you for your response Kelkel.
Assuming that the AIP was already given and that they are now just handling the  the PR application itself, would there be any difference in terms of processing time between CPC and Local office?

At the end of the process, no matter if AIP is given or not, all inland files go to the local office to complete PR processing.  If AIP is given, it's a much faster at the local office than if AIP is not given.
