Cousin wants to come to Canada...pls help!

HI, I am a Canadian citizen. I would like to adopt my cousin. She is 16 years old. she lives in El Salvador. She would like to come to Canada to have a better life. I want to sponsor her but I know I can not do it because she is my cousin. Do you think it would be a good idea if I adopt her? My aunt and her husband are happy about her coming to Canada.

Won't be easy.  As you have to create a parent/child bond.  Depending on the province, you will require a home study before the adoption will be approved.  Just wanting her to have a better life, won't fly.
