Hi All,

I applied for canadian immigration in 2006 Sep thru ***** in New Delhi. Now I am told that since  introduction of the Fast track in 2008 the chances of pre 2008 cases being processed in the near future is very low. ***** says that it plans a court case against CIC and says that  those interested to fight this case require to pay CAD 700 towards legal fee.

I would like to know you opinion on this, is this another rip off by ***** or given the miserable situation the pre 2008 applicants are in, is it worth the cost.......

Any ideas suggestions would be much appreciated...

Ask the ******* to pay for the court case charges and guarantee that you'll pay once the case is decided
in your favour. Let us see the response of the ********!!!!!!

Hi,

If you go through with this forum, quite a few applicants of 2007 from London visa office are getting request for medical . It's not that they have entirely stopped processing pre June and pre feb 2008 applicants but the process has slowed down but since the cap had been introduced they will clear all the backlog sooner or latter.

in my opinion, some lawyers are just taking advantage of the situation, knowing that they can make money out of these frustrated people. i believe the backlog will clear up eventually. that is the goal of this whole FSW cap of 500. And there's also the possibility of not accepting applicants for 2012 just to clear up the backlog. people are getting results in lightning speed. eventually they will reach everyone who's pending. litigation might take longer.

Who know's what'z installed for the backloggers in 2012. They might increase the cap to 1000 as well while reducing the NOC's or maintain the same cap and NOC as 2011.

Can't see any justice for the back loggers in the near future other than withdraw and re-apply!!!!!
