hey frnds
so this is how my profile look
10th - 92%
12th - 51.5 % (non medical) (maths-40%)
IELTS - 7.5 bands (listening - 9, reading - 8, writing 7, speaking -6.5)
i selected pre-technology course(1 year) in mohawk college
and applied under SPP n got visa refusal for the reasons stating that
"proposed program not reasonabel in light of past studies,academic scores,weak language abilities as indicated in documents provided and the vast opportunities to do the program in india at far lesser cost"
so now i want to apply again for may session for canada
so some agent suggested me "DIGITAL MEDIA ARTS" in SENECA  @  YORK
is it a gud course selection for this time?

thanks in advance in hope of co-operation

Hi,

If you remember last time I asked;

"What's the meaning of Pre-Technology course?",

so again I ask;

"What's the meaning of Digital Media Arts?"

It will be difficult to provide information regarding quality of Course that you choose, especially when its from a community college as there are "n" number of colleges providing "n" number of diploma/certificates.

As far as your profile is concerned you can very well apply for a course which does not focus much on maths as a requirement.  I would still advice a University Diploma/Degree through.

Hi,

If you remember last time I asked;

"What's the meaning of Pre-Technology course?",

so again I ask;

"What's the meaning of Digital Media Arts?"
Program Description

Over the four semesters of the program, your studies will focus on the design, implementation and management of digital graphics, animation, video and audio for interactive multimedia applications, including applications for the Internet.

You'll be especially well suited for the DMA program if you enjoy all aspects of visual art creation and are both technical and visually talented.

You'll learn to plan, develop, and design effective visual and audio communication materials for digital delivery on multiple operating systems.

You'll also apply your creative and artistic skills toward practical purposes such as content creation for the web, social media, marketing and advertising campaigns, new media, television graphics, and special effects and animation for the film, TV and advertising industries. In your second year, you'll benefit from experience with digital compositing, High-Definition and editing, using advanced technology and high-end equipment.

Because an independent project or real industry experience can be instrumental to your career success, you'll have the opportunity to choose one in your final semester.
