Just curious whether you guys courier'ed your app or mailed it via post?

WIth my huge application package I think it would be easier to just send via FedEx to the Courier address...

We used courier based on the fact that, our file was big and based on the tracking number....we both felt more secure using UPS

I used Canada post-Express Post with tracking#. It took two days and cost me $10.

If you use Canada Post Express post, do you send it to the Courier address or the PO Box?

They told me to use PO box address since Xpost is not considered a courier service.

Hi,

I used Canada Xpress post to mail my application. I used PO box address and everything went fine. It's always better to go for courier so you can track it. Now days you can not relay on mail, esp. when you have yours originals in.

Cheers,

looking at the address of the po box and courier it seems that there two different locations.  Is processing faster at one of them? does anyone know?

Thanks

NO. Processing your application will NOT be faster if you choose to courier your application package instead of mailing via Canada Post. Only advantage, if you will, with courier shipment is that you can track the package and is probably faster in getting to its destination, but has no impact on how fast CPC-M will take in reviewing your app.

Thats correct, CPC-M is currently taking 52 days to process the first stage approval and then the file gets transfered to the appropriate VISA office so plus that.

I put the courier address on the envelope but it was sent with xpresspost. do you think this is a problem or xpresspost will correct it to the p.o.box? Will my package end up at the wrong address?
