Couple of questions
«

I am sponsoring my spouse from Japan. I have been living here for the past year and a half and am going back to Canada in a few weeks. I have been working in Japan full time so I won't have an Option C Printout for the most recent taxation year. I want to send the application as soon as I get back so I will not be employed.
My questions are...
1.In sponsorship evaluation, should I wait until I get a job so I can fill out the 'currently employed' section? Will it affect us if I fill out 'currently unemployed'?
We do not have any dependants so I do not have to meet a minimum income requirement, is that correct?
3. Should I get a Option C Printout for the year of 2009 or do I not need to get it at all since I have been working in Japan full time for the past year and a half?

It is not necessary to be employed but you should send your last option C print out plus your income information from Japan so they know you are hard working and will be working in the future. There is no specific income requirement for spousal sponsorship but they can refuse if neither of you is working or likely to be working and it is unclear how you will support yourself.
