today i call 8 different clinics in france...4 in paris and 4 elsewhere in france
well they charge you from 90 euros to 180 euros...i don t know which is the difference between them in terms of services
i have also called in rome (where i am from but not a resident) and they told me that they charge 260 euros....

All you really need from them is the medical form to submit with your application. In my husband's case, it was a very brief visit -- just time for the doctor to fill in the form, ask a few questions, take his blood pressure, listen to his chest, and then send him off for the lab tests. I would go with whichever DMP is cheapest and easiest for you to get to. Absolutely no point in paying 2 or 3x the price for the same thing!!

Wow, your husband's lucky msgomez. At least he had that going for him Smiley

When I went to get my medical done, I had to come back a week later - the first time around they did all the tests and sent me to the hospital to get the x-ray done. Because the x-ray was then mailed back to the DMP, they asked me to come back next week, so the doctor had all the results when he did the check up - or rather, interview, since he didn't actually look at me, he just went over all the test results.
Just a warning - if the DMP is far away, call to make sure you won't have to go there twice.

The prices definitely vary. I paid only 2000 Rs, equivalent of 50 CAD for the check-up.
X-ray
Urine test
Physical examination
Questions about health

It was quite thorough, the doctor spent all of 30 mins asking the questions. Then the lab work took another 1 hr. It was pretty good at the end.

I got my medicals done in Dallas, TX for around 175$ US.  That was after I called around to all the clinics offering it and found the best deal.  Some wanted 300$ for it!
