Hi,

I would like to know what is the cost of getting a package of Indian/Pakistani channels on cable.

Can anyone recommend me any good and economical cable network providing more South Asian channels .

Thanks

check the major companies for their prices: telus, rogers and shaw depending which part of the country.

There is no such thing as an "economical cable network" in Canada.

So bloody true. My husband and I were just complaining about that yesterday. My husband was asking me what the CRTC fee was and "can we stop paying it".

You can stop paying it like this - OTA - over the air TV, it is free.
I can recommend OTA TV, But obviously not for Indian channels.

Some info' http://www.otacanada.com/cgi-bin/ota_info.pl

Reception depends on where you live. For me, OTA TV, Netflix and the occasional Internet TV channel is all I need.

After the initial purchase of an antenna, the $8 a month fee for Netflix is less expensive than cable or satellite.
