Just want to say thank you to ALL of you for your assistance and posts, as the wealth of information helped us achieve the completion of finally sending the entire package to Mississauga today...to be delivered tomorrow afternoon...

So we are now on countdown for the waiting process!

Since the courier could not deliver to the PO Box...I used the

2 Robert Speck Parkway
Suite 1200
Mississauga, Ontario L4Z 1H8 address???

This was the address the courier had in reference to the Case Processing Centre-Mississauga.  Please advise if this is correct by experience...

Sending the package was like removing a child from the hip...lol!

Again, THANK YOU to each and everyone of you!  Good Luck to the ones waiting, in transit and to the new ones coming on board!

Many thanks and appreciation!

Haha! When I mailed mine off, I was so happy to get rid of it, I got a little carried away with the celebration xD But just a little ;)
That thing caused me way too much stress for several months. I couldn't wait to be rid of it.

Good luck with the processing, hope it all goes smoothly for you! :)

Thank you all for the good wishes!  Best Wishes to all!

I do have a few questions...I am preparing to return back home (USA) from Canada...as life and work calls.  However, I do have a few questions...

when I cross into the USA, if they should ask me what the nature of my visit was...do I state I was visiting my husband?  Originally when I crossed we were not married.

I have a copy of all the immigration application/paperwork in the trunk of my car, with receipt and overnight confirmed postage.

Also, should I ask for my passport to be stamped even if I am flagged through? It was not stamped at time of entering Canada, which I have read is common.

and last but not least:

Should I be proactive and do anything while I am at the border...(visit the Canadian Immigration side)  request an extension so the next time I return I will know in advance if I will be able to cross without issues?

I thank you all...I have a concerns from reading some of the posts. Of course I want to be able to see/visit my husband without delays.  Any advice is welcomed.

Still waiting for acknowledgement!

Have a Great Day All,
KJ

I wonder why they give a P.O. box to mail applications to if they can't be delivered there?

Hi

Think it through, mail is delivered delivered directly to the PO box, a courier needs an address.

Not to be spamming the boards, I wont post after this but..

We sent our application to the PO Box number in Mississauga not knowing there was a different address for registered mail. Having someone sign for it was an option so we didn't choose it so I'm hoping it might still get through. Does anyone know what would happen if it didn't? How long would it take for the package to get sent back to my wife in Vancouver?

I'm concerned because my background check expires in mid October and I was hoping to not have to deal with any more problems and anxiety.
