Hi everyone,

I just have a quick question. I received my PR card about a month ago. I am wondering--am I supposed to keep the COPR in my passport or can I remove it and keep it somewhere safe? I am about to take a trip out of Canada so I want to make sure I have everything I need. Please let me know!

Keep it somewhere safe, you will need it for citizenship application.

Thanks PMM. Yes, I will keep it somewhere safe. What I need to know right now is if I need to carry it with me when I travel. I am going on vacation and need to know if I need to keep the COPR attached to my passport or if I can take it out and just use the PR Card. Any information would be appreciated.

If you look at your COPR you will see that is only valid for 1 entry, you have your PR card that is now proof of your PR status, remove the COPR.

Hi everyone...
I have applyed for pr card while ago and pass the second stages whic is in buffalo right now...we send my documents about 6,5 mounts ago and I didnt get any response from buffalo ..I got my file number midle of may and we are in september ...Does anybody now how many mounts will it takes to get PR card ?? ...I have no more patient to wait please help...Thank you...
