My marriage isn't annuled yet since it's too expensive. We filed for conjugal partnership now waiting for a positive result

We tried applying for tourist visa but we were denied twice maybe because of the reason that I'm a nurse, so we went through the conjugal partnership route. It's really difficult to prove way lot of paper works and proofs to show but it's worth it. And hopefully if I get to go to Canada that's where I will be filing for divorce after a year of residency there. Then we will get married in Canada.

I read some of your posts emrn and i`m hoping that you`ll be reunited with your love one soon.
You are right, annulment is not for the faint of heart, it`s expensive and there are a lot of cases being heard in the Family Courts making the process very long, years actually if you`re unlucky.
My fiance and i lived together for 10 months, 2 months shy of the required 12 months for common law and i`m a Filipino citizen so we opted for an annulment and get married next year. Keep on posting, i know there are a lot of Filipinos out there who are in the same situation as us and we can give them a little encouragement.
