hi

i am little confused about my education and experience and age as well

my education details

2004 to 2005 metric passed full-time
2007 to 2008 diploma in hospitality management
2008 to 2009 certificate iv in hospitality (commercial cookery)

i have both but i have 14 years of full-time study not continues
how many points i can claim for immigration

i am working in 3 star hotel as a supervisor especially in front office and house-keeping department
from July 2007 to till continue. my question is i completed my study with management skills and cooking skills.
is there any reason embassy can refuse my application that i should work as a cook in the hotel and i do not have enough experience to qualify that noc 1221 and 6216

my noc code is on job offer 1221 and on the immigration forms is 6216+1221

i also have job offer from park-inn hotel Canada.
my age is 23 years old
most of consultant says to me that i am too young to qualify that system
is my age affect on my application that i am too young.

Anyone of 21 to 49 years have 10 points. So you'll get maximum points for your age.

As far as eduction is concerned you shall get 15 points as both of your course is 1 year only(but please wait for seniors advice)

You will again have less points in experience(maybe 15 or 17) as I conclude that you have 1 or 2 years of experience.

If you have a job offer, you'll get additional 10 points. You can score in your languages.

PS. BY matriculation do you mean 10th grade of 12th Grade.

If your diploma course is 2 years than you will get 20 points. If it is 1 year than 15 points.
Will your employer(i.e. the job offer you have from Canada) ready to sponsor you??

I think CHC will count your studies as 13 years full time education.

SO for education you will get 15 points.
For your age you will get 10 points
Experience:15 to 21 points(please inform whats your experience)
language skills: you need to give ielts and if you know french you need to give its ielts equivilant.
For Arranged employment you'll get 10 points
And if you have any close relative maybe 3 to 5 points for that.

check the cic guidelines and evaluate yourself.

The NOC for Cook is 6242 & Chef is 6241.
6216 & 1221 are not in the demand list of the new ministerial instructions.
So unless you get an AEO from your prospective employer, you cannot apply for FSW immigration with 6216 & 1221.

It doesn't matter how many years you took to complete a course. What matters is what is the university/institutes stance on the course. Whether the course you did was defined as 1 year or 2 year.
