I am a Canadian citizen.  I live in France with my husband.  We are ready to file his visa application and I am his sponsor.  The Paris website doesn't provide any information re paying for a family class visa -- the assumption may be that all sponsors live in Canada -- and refers you to the Canadian website.  The Canadian website only accepts payment if you live in Canada.   Does anyone know what I need to do.  I believe I need to pay the application fees and send the entire package with a receipt to the Paris office for processing. Has anyone had any experience with this?  Thanks for your help, we would really like to wrap this process up.  I just wonder if the confusing messages surrounding this process are the same in other countries.

You pay the fees on the Canadian site to the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga.  That is the office to which you will also send the application, NOT to Paris.  You don't need to be living in Canada to pay the fees, just select CPC-M as the office to receive payment.
