guys i am totally confused. today my ecas updated to 'in process'  it says we started processing your application on nov 17. but on 3rd November they issued me a letter asking for a document and sent back all the proofs. my question is how come it goes into 'in process' after sending back my proofs?

Yes, this is correct. They were not processing your file until they receive the document you sent them. Once they received the document, now they will be processing the file. It is normal nothing to worry about.

but with that letter they sent back all the proofs of relationship, how they can work without seeing the proofs?

Does in process mean that they dont need any addition documents?Huh PLZ answer

It doesn't guarantee they don't need additional documents. They can request additional documents at any time.

i know asking for documents is normal process, but sending back the photos and other proofs have made me sick

Read the letter they sent you carefully, if they did not say you are on the interview list then you have a great chance of being approve once all document requested has been satisfy.  Good luck to u and your spouse.

i read that properly and it just asked for only one document and nothing else. they have given me 60 days time. i have already submitted. thanks for your wish

The agent gave my husband back all the proofs after the interview. He had brought even new ones and she didn t want to take them.... He got his passport request 2 weeks later.. Meaning it was not a bad thing !!
