hi. mu hubby's application is 90% done and we are also 90% sure we did evrything right, but reading posts here i got confused again. please clarify this for me.

i got my pr january 2011. stayed in canada for 1month. got married. going back in january 2012. I Can send in our application to sponsor my hubby immediately after i got back right? no residency requirement as i have not reached five years for my pr to expire yet right? i will be in Calgary.

pls enlighten me. thanks

If your question is whether you have to live in Canada during the time his PR is being processed, then the answer is YES.
Or do you mean you have to fulfill a specific duration as a PR until you can sponsor your husband? The answer to this question is NO.

yes from January 2012 i will be living in Canada continuously. So that means i can send our application right after I arrive next month. Thank you
