hi
i have applied at Thompson Rivers University for Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in International Business. what i have to ask is for how much months i will be getting visa..is it for 24 months as my course duration is of 2 yrs. my consultant told me that i will get visa for 24 moths and for work permit i have have to apply again to get the permit. Is he giving me the right information.
Please give some feedback on this.

Pretty much, you will probably get a 27 months study permit and then when/if you graduate, you apply for a Post Graduate Work Permit.  If you wish to work off campus and you meet the criteria after 6 months, then you can apply for a work permit then.  Which allows you to work 20 hours per week during semesters and full time during breaks.
