Hello,

I live in a place, which Visa office in NYC. We were suppose to file our application to Missassaga which transfered our application to buffalo. We are doing an outland application so medical, payments--everything was complete when we sent our application.

We filed it May 1- May 28 we got approval for the sponsorship
June 10- received AOR from Buffalo
June 23- File was transfered to NYC--

I'm wondering if this is a good think or bad think that it was send to NYC- I didn't think they issues permanent residence?

Thanks,

You have been told a couple of times in other threads what it means Smiley It could mean they will be requesting an interview, (especially if you picked New York) or it could mean that they are finishing up your process and will issue your PPR. Best of luck to you!

I know one guy whose FSW application was send to Seattle for some reason.  He didn't need an interview, just easing the load on Buffalo apparently.  He already got his PR by now.

Don't assume it means anything, just stay cool and wait until you hear something.
