Hi everyone,

Hope someone can answer my question. I see people who have written that they have received AIP and THEN "decision made," but isn't decision made the same as AIP? I mean, they made their decision and gave you AIP, so I don't get it...

Here's my timeline:

Applied for PR humanitarian Nov 2010.
Application began processing in Vegreville, and was transferred to local office January 2011.
This week I read on the ecas " A decision has been made and you will be contacted." I called the CIC centre and they told me they sent me a letter with my first stage approval (aip) and will arrive within two weeks.

What's next? All these terms kinda confuse me  Tongue. Thanks!

After first stage approval with an inland application, you can usually get health care and apply for an open work permit.
