Confirmation of Additional Documents Received ?

Has anyone emailed or written a letter to the embassy (Manila) to confirm that they have received the additional documents they had requested ?

We have Proof of Delivery from the courier, but this does not actually tell us that someone working on our case received the documents.

It has now been nearly 45 days since the initial request for additional documents was sent to us, and we have not seen any updates on our case. We are concerned that the 45 day period may expire and they do not have the information they requested.

What happens if the 45 day period does expire ?

For me they asked for more information within 90 days. I sent it to them ASAP, and they did not react until exactly 90 days later, when they made their decision. Afterwards, I ordered my CAIPS notes. They had received the information and added it to my file right away, then just wait until the end of the time period before actually doing anything with it. I guess that's just the way they work.

I never got confirmation only canada post courier confirmation.
But all I got was an email that said " still in process no further action is needed by you"

I never received confirmation that my requested documents were received other than my courier tracking.  I requested CAIPS notes and I could see that the bring forward date was set to the 90 days that they had set for me to provide the documents.  Since we hadn't heard anything since Sept and the BF date was Jan 1, I finally got a response from my MP who checked into my file and they said they were waiting on the documents.  I've got a post already up on the ordeal.

Me and Kess have the same dates and the same problem.
All I got is an email telling me that no further action I just ordered my caips ,I wonder why we're still waiting

Again, thank you for the feedback ...

We have not received any response, an email that said  "still in process no further action is needed by you" would be nice.

For some reason all corespondence has been by snail mail, I wish they would use email. We have lost several weeks just waiting for letters to show up.

I think we will try sending an email, requesting confirmation that the documents they asked for have been received.

Worst case is, they will not respond, but they should let us know ...

This whole thing is very frustrating.


I will post how we make out with our request.
