My husband and I may be able to enter Canada on the Federal Skills Visa (according to eligibility questionaire) but was wondering what conditions are attached to this visa.  Will the Canadian government "force" you to then work in that industry under which your visa was approved? Since this visa immediately gives you permanent residency, what will happen if you cannot find a job in that industry?  Will you be allowed then to start your own business which may or may not be in the industry on which your visa was approved.

No restriction whatsoever. Canada is the best country among English-speaking that promotes individual freedom.
