Conditional Spousal Visas - Now getting some press

My question is will this conditional PR be any different than the normal PR other than it can be revoked if the marriage is not continued for a period of two years (in other words will the new PR rules grant the same rights as before or will it have any other limitations)?

The basic PR would need to allow travel and work.
No doubt there will be a long list of things that are geared towards removing PR status and maybe criminal charges.

I read the CBC article, and was so incensed by the line that blithely stated that foreign spouses of Canadians "become landed immigrants as soon as the marriage is performed without needing to apply for immigration, which can take years", I wrote an email to the author lambasting him for his lack of research.

I personaly think that this will only add delay to current processing times, I mean If you find someone that can afford to pay $25,000.00 for a bogus marriage what is another $10,000.00 to get them to stay in the marriage for a total of two years.

Then how is the local office going to know that your not already divorced - Which will slow down the Landing process for others already in Canada awaiting Landing by giving those staff more work in investigating those marriages ?

LOL - I also sent an email, with a (not so subtle hint) that they might want to employ an immigrant, because they understand the process far better then the author.
I also added that they might like to visit this forum.
