According to this page http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/processing.asp
in same cases it's possible to start processing a work permit application before the LMO (labour market opinion) has been approved.
My question is, if they will actually approve the permit before the LMO has been received?

receiving an LMO approval can take several months. Processing time for a temporary working permit is just a few weeks (Berlin).
So if they approve my working visa application I can expect the Temporary Work Permit in a matter of weeks. Or do they need to wait for the LMO approval anyway?

So basically in this case, would I receive a Temporary Work Permit in:
1) just a few weeks?
2) or a few months?

Thanks Andree

They wait for the approved LMO. so if the LMO took months, the WP would take months.

Thanks PMM for your reply.

Do you happen to know if the LMO approval would be in faster when applying under the Occupations under Pressure process?
Or does it *only* minimize advertising efforts?
