if your husband is in 38 noc, i suggest to reaply immediately. it will make the process faster. but make it sure that he is under the 38.

both the application can be processed. CIC must know from the applicant that he applied before.

what about the noc & job title ?

good luck.

since u were not the applicant last time, in my view u can apply as skilled worker without any problem. i think it will be better if ur spouse withdaws application. seniors can advise u in a better way perhaps.

thank you for your replies

My spouse that has applied in 2007 is Mechanical engineer and i graduated in software engineering also i am managing director in softwaer developing company.
So are you sure that it's not forbidden to applye at same time by principle applicant and his spouse.

I do not know if there is any retriction to be processed both the spouses' applications simulteneously. I think there should not be any restriction.

If your husband's occupation is not under 38 NOC, you may apply if you are in 38 NOC. think a little bit and decide which will be processed faster.

Pls. tell cic that you have an application pending in their office if you apply again. Do not hide anything.

Remember your husband's application will be processed, although with a delay.

Good luck

I think you can.

I have email confirming this from CIC new Delhi that even primary applicant can have two different application as long as category is in 38 listed professions and both the application can be processed in parallel without having to withdraw the first application but please make sure that you declare that in one of FORM that you already have application "in process"

I would advise that you email your local CIC office and get email confimation in your inbox .
If you are emailing New Delhi  they will not reply untill after 25 days.
Good luck mate..
