Hey everyone,
Thought I would start a new thread about common-law so we can all help each other out! What type of evidence is everyone providing? Also, do you think it reflects poorly on the applicant if there is no Lease agreement? A friend of mine is also apply for common-law with her partner but they live at her families home, hoping to find out some info for her!
Thanks!

She just needs an affidavit (better) or letter from her parents saying she lives there with her common-law partner as a couple.

I'm sort of in a similar situation right now. My boyfriend and I are applying as common law in March and for the first two months we lived with his parents without a rental agreement so what we're doing is including mail we received at that time going to the same address and a joint bank account we made at that time that shows we had the same address at that time as proof we were cohabitating for those two months.
