Helly everybody and rjessome!

My situation is as follows:
I met my girlfriend 5 years ago, we've been dating for 4 years, she's canadian and I'm not. I quit my regular job ( Engineer on cruise vessels ) to move to Canada and be with her under a WHV and life has been grand, no complaints here I have a full-time job and we live together in an apartment. My goal is obtain a permanent residency here in Canada.

When I first got into Canada we spent the first couple of weeks at her parents house ( 2 weeks ) and then moved to our current location. I have recently (today) resigned from my position at my canadian employer as I want to pursue my career at sea, we have given up rent and I will be flying out of the country on June 21st.

One of the common-law requirements is that we live together for a year; my question now is... do those 2 weeks in the beginning count? and what about the last 2 days that I fly out early?

What do you guys think? What's your advice?

ps. rjessome, if you are reading this, I took your advice in your last message and started to focus on one way of entry. Thank you.
