Hi All,

I am in utter dilemma. I contacted my college for my original transcript in their sealed envelope (though i got the original one when i finished my course). But they refused to do so saying that they issued the Original Transcript before and there wont be a second "ORIGINAL" Transcript for whatever reason it is. And also my college clarfied that if they are asked by some authority to submit my original transcript again such as CIC and Canadian Nursing Organization, they will directly send it to the corresponding authority. Friends, now i am totally confused. I dont know how can i get my original transcript in sealed envelope to apply as RN under FSW category. Is there any other options, like attested true copy, that works? What are the other acceptable options by CIC. Please, all experts's advice needed.

Hi!

Yes there is an alternate available. Attest copies from your college + notary public + higher education authority in your country (HEC in Pakistan) + ministry of foreign affairs. Put them in college envelope , seal it and ask college officals to stamp and sign the envelope. Then write this thing in  cover letter to CIC that college doesn't issue 2nd sets of originals so you are sending attested copies form college + notary public + etc..

thanks

get a notarized copy of your original transcript/diploma and provide an explanation that your college is not issuing further copies/originals (you might submit the response you got from your college supporting your explanation). I'd be more than surprised if that wouldn't be sufficient (you might need some sort of legalization depending on your country though)...

Get a letter from ur college stating original transcripts have been issued earlier and there is no provision for a re-issue AND THEN send a copy of ur original duly notarised.
I had this same problem and it was accepted by the V.O.

Thank you all..

Dear Shibuya, if i get the photocopy of the original transcript attested by Indian Embassy and also attach the clarification letter from the college in their letterhead, do you think it would be accepted by CIC and London VO?

Could you please advise me on what should be included in the clarification letter? How should it be addressed and is there any specific format?
