CND PR In progress & Receive US Green Card

I sponsored my Tanzanian parents for PR in 2007 and the process is still in progress.  Application is through Nairobi office.

Last year, my brother in US sponsored my parents and they received US Green Card in 8 months!  They have already 'landed' in the US and have returned to Tanzania to wrap everything.

Should I continue with the Canadian PR application?  Will they be able to maintain PR status in US and Canada?

Requirements for Canada are 730 days in every rolling 5 year period.  Compare with the US requirements and decide whether they can fulfill both.
