Hello all

can anyone help in this case...had applied for immigration in 2008 and was thru the basic procedure...immigration officer had sent the letter requesting for medicals, however my lawyer had changed the address and never recvd the letter...after few months i changed the address to my new address online n after a week recvd the letter from immigration officer that the file was closed as he dint recv the desired documents to process my file...after contacting the lawyer managed to send the letter to the officer for reconsideration but nothing positive...so applied  again for the immigration under the canadian Experience class but the skill level was type D n was rejected...had some family urgency n had to come back to the home country before my work visa expired...in my stay of 4yrs in canada had a son born there n my wife also has a work experience for more than 2yrs as technical support in a software company...she still works for the same canadian company from back here..

Question--- with this situation can anyone suggest wat can b done in order for us to return to canada, or is it possi for the immigration to reconsider or open my file which i had applied on the basis of points...

thanx...hoping for a reply..

If u explain that 'lawyer / address change' issue, with a mercy petition to your VO -- there r chances that the file could be reopened.

I think that you should realize that your previous applications are finished.  You either qualify under the new rules or you don't qualify.
