Clarification on employment while on PR

Hi All,

 I am on a work permit and its getting expired in may 2011. I have lost my job and am planning to move back to india in first week of january 2011. Is it legal to work for an indian company(for about a month) which is located in india and the salary paid would be in indian rupees. I have been offered to work from home for a month while I am in canada. Please clarify.

As long as it doesn't involve Canadian customers and you will be paid from India, it is fine.
