I think 1122 is the only option you have, and if I am not Mistaken the quota of 1000 applicants is full for this year you might have to wait till June next year to send the application.  Sad

any way best of luck

As I wrote before, I do not think you qualify, based on your current occupations.

I disagree with others who suggest creative writing to try to force your occupation to "fit" an eligible code - you will have to be able to document your experience, and certainly IOs can spot those who are faking it.  I would rather not give you false hope and have you spend a lot of time and money on a doomed mission.

However - all is not lost. Look at the list of 29 occupations - what is important is NOT your current occupation, but whether you have at least 1 year of experience in one of those occupations in the past 10 years.  As well, if you make a choice to get that experience now, you can qualify after one year.

Another option (admittedly difficult) is to try to get a job in Canada as a temporary foreign worker, or to get a permanent job offer - then you have different options.

I suggest that you spend a little more time on the CIC website and read as much as you can about the different ways to immigrate - you may find a way forward then.  Good luck!

Hi wxyz123 ,

I have already applied for NOC 1122 and i am an advertising consultant but my job title doesn't mathches with the any title under 1122. But my job duties matches exactly with the 1122.

In my application i have given my original job title not anything from the NOC 1122. Do you thing it will cause any problem on my elegibility check?

Thanks
this post is good

"Hi sgg,

You and your husband can apply under NOC 1122 (Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management), using any of the job titles that matches your skill. Pick only those duties that fit some or all of the duties stated under this NOC.

For your husband; use any of the job titles

business consultant, consultant, business, consultant, management, corporate development planning adviser, corporate planner

For you; it can be any of the underlisted....

marketing specialist – advertising, product manager – marketing, promotion representative, promotion specialist, promotion strategies consultant.

For the limit of 20,000 applications, information on this is not available as I write.

Cheers
Olabisi
