Cittizenship date in 1344A

Hi,

My wife is sponsoring me and we are almost done completing the forms, except for the place where they ask for the date of her citizenship. I know a new application for the citizenship certificate takes 3 months. Any suggestions on how to get this date faster? Would the CIC give this over the phone. Any help is greatly appreciated.

the date is written on the citizenship certificate - u receive that certificate when u go for the citizenship oath and ceremony (if she remembers when that happened she does not even need to search for the certificate)

Actually she dosen't, it was like 10 yrs ago. But she called CIC today and at first they refused and asked her to apply with a form, but after a little persuasion, they asked her questions from 10 yrs back and finally gave her the number.
