Citizenship even by staying outside with Canadian citizen wife

Hi Everyone,
I am Canadian PR holder sponsered by my wife who is a canadian citizen.After i received my PR card my wife got a very good job offer in UAE (Dubai) and so we are now residing in UAE. from the website details i came to know that as long as i am staying with a Canadian citizen my PR status can be maintained even without meeting the minimum number of days that is required to maintain the PR status. My question is these days that i am staying out of Canada with my wife will be counted as i am staying in Canada and if so will i be eligible to apply for citizenship after completeing 3 or 4 years. for your info i got my PR card on 1st Nov 2008.

No, citizenship requires physical residence in Canada.
