Citizenship Application Status

Hello All,

I have applied for Canadian Citizenship in Februrary 2011.  I have received letter on March 28th 2011, it says CIC has recevied applcation and documents will now be reviewed.

My question is, So CIC has started processing the application OR it is just to confirm that they recevied my application and they will process after few months?

They have mailed the study guide along with the letter. So this is all part of confirmation - Correct?

Yes it is. It will take atleast 10 months to move your application to your local CIC office. so relax
