I don't know about 15 day closure, they'll closed on weekends and public holidays for sure. If they are closed than their system won't generate day thus there won't be any delays because of that.

Hello all,

Well I can share my experience last year....
I sent my full docs through Express post on 23 Dec (thought will deliver the very early day of X'mas) along with a Xmas wish card...
Was tracking the parcel delivery online.... but it was showing attempted delivery.....returned to base from 25 onwards...
Was very tensed of loosing all very imp docs...
After the Boxing day... started communicating to Express post agency also sent mail and fax to CHC....requesting with the AWB no to arrange a redelivery to them if possible...... No reply..
However on 3 January got the online tracking update as item picked up for redelivery...and got the mail reply from CHC that they supposed not to give any receipt (didn't mention anything that they have received or not....!!)
However got a call on 4 Jan from the Express courier delivery section confirming that the item was delivered.... when I asked what made all this delay... they responded that on 24 afternoon the CHC office was probably closed early so nobody was there to pick up and sign...
However I got the AOR on 12 January mentioned that they received my docs on 5 January....
Its been nearly a year but can remember my all tense periods... and I will not suggest anybody planning to sent full docs probably should not do after 20 Dec and better wait till first week of January..... I can imagine the docs already sent before and supposedly be awaiting delivery between this period might have the similar fate like me!!!
Its been nearly a year I submitted my full docs but still stuck in "In process"...............Being a fast track applicant its been frustrating specially if after these long delays it might turn out with unexpected rejection!!!! May the Almighty save and bless us all

Didn't you send any case specific inquiry or ordered CAIPS?

No CAIPS ordered yet... and no case specific inquiry as well
CHC has been very quiet these days.... Some fellow applicant didn't receive any response on their query for quite a long time back.... It seems general delay (might be annual quota limit exceeded!!) Like to wait this month..... lets see... where my luck can take me up to.........
